Discover the life and vision of Japanese American artist Kikuko Dewa (1933-2010). Through her textiles, fashion, and inventive processes, Desire to Make: The Art of Kikuko Dewa offers a glimpse into the creative spirit and relationships that shaped Dewa’s work and continue her legacy today. Curated by Michelle Kumata, this exhibition includes contributing artists Junko Yamamoto, Akiko Sato, Yoko Nomura, and Lorraine Pai.
