Step into history as our Education Guides walk you through the East Kong Yick Building — the home of the Wing Luke Museum. Originally beginning construction in 1910, The Kong Yick Buildings housed storefronts, hotels, family associations, and eventually family apartments. With the Wing Luke Museum acquisition of the Kong Yick East building in 2006 under Director Ron Chew, our mission to preserve these spaces and make them accessible to the public became a reality. Included with your admission, or available for private tours — step into the past and experience the Yick Fung Store, Freeman Hotel, Gee How Oak Tin Family Association, & more.
